This is a unique little apartment in Leyton, just a short walk from the central line station. The design draws influence from around the world; from Mexico and Morocco to Ibiza and Greece. It's filled with artisanal pieces such as ceramics from local makers, hand-carved objects from travels and antiques. The kitchen and bathroom are designed in a warm neutral tadelakt (Moroccan plaster), with travertine sinks and reclaimed brass taps. Bespoke double doors and floor-to-ceiling windows, coupled with its south-facing position, ensure the space is bright and sunny. The furniture includes a Chinese elm wood bench, Hungarian milking stools and a French antique trunk, and the space is accented with African art Kuba cloths and tapestries. The flat itself is tiny (27sqm) and I do live here but personal belongings will be out of sight. It has it's own private entrance and large decked terrace. The terrace is filled with plants including olive trees, bamboo, aloe vera, a lemon tree, a eucalyptus tree, jasmine and ivy. There is also a cat who lives at the property - he sleeps outside all day and will most likely hide away so you won't even see him. If this is a problem, please let me know. A professional clean will be done prior to your arrival. Any questions, do not hesitate to ask! Thanks, Claire
