There are some large craftsman style homes in the area in varying condition along with boutique shops and eateries. It appears the area is growing, expanding, and undergoing a renovation initiative to revitalize the town (ImagineDurant.org). There is an annual Shakespearean festival hosted by the local Southeastern Oklahoma University, which specializes in an aviation program offered at undergrad, graduate, and doctorate levels. Also, known as the City of Magnolia's, Durant hosts an annual Magnolia festival following Memorial weekend as well as other events throughout the year. This space is great for a photo shoot, video shoot, meeting, small business workshop, audio recording, and small private event (i.e. baby shower, bridal shower, dinner, etc. for up to 20 ppl).
