About The Douglas Studio

As a master facilitator and 3-time TEDx speaker, I personally designed this space to maximize the creative flow of energy while simultaneously soothing the body & mind in a serene container. With the guidance of a nationally recognized interior decorator, as well as the support of a certified Feng Shui advisor, my home has been optimized for highly impactful conversations and inspired meetings. ABOUT THE SPACE This private residence is the internationally recognized, AIA-awarded masterpiece of Dallas’ legendary architect, Ron Wommack. The home is a solar-powered “Eco-Oasis” that offers a serene escape from the city, despite being within 1 mile of Dallas Market Center/Design District, 2 miles of American Airlines Center, and less than 4 miles from Love Field Airport. ***READ HOUSE RULES BELOW*** The AIA award-winning design includes floor-to-ceiling glass walls enclosed behind a serene bamboo garden and privacy fence. The flexible floor plan offers multiple configurations and has accommodated a variety of meetings, from retreats to brainstorming sessions to product launches. NOTE: If needed, I am a highly trained and deeply experienced retreat facilitator who can offer a very affordable rate to help facilitate/lead meetings if you use my space. NUMBER OF GUESTS The house is a 1,700-sq ft loft-style building (1 bedroom and 2 bathrooms). We have seating for 20-30 people and can accommodate about twice as many with people standing. Let me know how many people you are thinking about having and we can discuss furniture options. Please note that special events are not allowed and you cannot sell tickets to attend any meeting you hold here. A NOTE ON FURNITURE The included option is one table with 6 chairs, as seen in photos; plus the living room setup that is included in photos. I also have additional fold-out tables (large and smal) as well as fold-out chairs (with cushions) that are available for a modest fee. However, if you need seating for more than 20 or so, please message me because I do not allow large deliveries / third party rentals (***SEE RULES FOR MORE***). MORE ABOUT THE SPACE Designed as architect Ron Wommack’s personal home and signature project, my home has won the AIA (American Institute of Architects) “Best of Show” and “ Honor Award” for built small project. Jerome Weeks, of local NPR station KERA, also recognized the home in a review titled “Elsewhere, Texas.” It is a sleek marvel of modern design that is a perfect fit for an upscale event, photo shoot, or film production. The innovative sustainable design includes solar panels, a gated courtyard set behind a privacy wall with mature landscaping, and a bamboo serenity garden that combine to create a tranquil space around the home. The concrete slab and exposed structural steel framing offer a museum-like serenity to the home itself, which transports you out of the city despite being 5 minutes from the American Airlines Center (home of the Mavs and a premier concert destination) and <4 miles from Love Field airport. The large pane windows create wonderful light prisms and rainbow effects throughout the day (see photos). Truly the best combination of central location, sleek design, environmental sustainability in the city ... at a much lower rate than comparably luxurious hotels in town. The living area is oversized and the house has tremendous flexibility in layout/use; the furniture can easily be moved to create a larger gathering space for up to 50 people. We can customize layout based on your needs. The space is ideal for commercial use such as photo shoots, film productions, etc. It also could be an ideal fit for a board/staff/customer/donor event (discounts are available for nonprofits, civic groups, and faith communities). Strong WiFi. Kitchen fully stocked for cooking, lots of options for tea and coffee, plus a full fridge for you to stock your own drinks/food as needed. Health and Safety Measures

I take great pride in keeping this house in pristine, museum-like appearance. My co-hosts share my passion for excellence and we look forward to delighting you and your guests. NOTE: You are responsible for removing any trash from the property generated by your event, outside of the one trash can that I provide in the house. Otherwise, a fee will be assess for me to hire private trash hauler.

Cancellation Policy

Guests may cancel their Booking until seven days before the event start time and will receive a full refund (including all Fees) of their Booking Price. Guests may cancel their Booking between seven days and 24 hours before the event start time and receive a 50% refund (excluding Fees) of their Booking Price. Booking cancellations submitted less than 24 hours before the Event start time are not refundable. Learn More

All Bookings are subject to Peerspace’s Grace Period policy which provides a full refund for Bookings cancelled within 24 hours from receipt of a Booking Confirmation but no later than 48 hours prior to the Event start time.
