These rules come from hosting many productions and are designed to protect our home while keeping shoot days running smoothly. - Floor protection is required in all areas with heavy crew traffic or equipment. Please use Ram Board and/or professional black rubber mats (no craft paper), including underneath all boxes, cameras, carts and equipment. For crews of 20+, professional floor protection such as Mat Men is required. Floors may of course be uncovered temporarily when needed for a shot. Only blue painter’s tape may be used—no black tape or Ram Board tape. - Please remove shoes or wear clean booties inside the home, particularly in bedrooms and carpeted areas. Nothing may be dragged, slid or rolled across unprotected floors, and equipment may not be placed or stored on furniture. Wall and corner protection is strongly encouraged. - Tennis balls are required on the ends of all equipment stands, including both rubber and metal stands. - Production is allotted driveway space and 3-5 street spaces directly in front of our property on our side of Stone Canyon. Please do not park across the street or in front of other homes on Stone Canyon. All remaining vehicles must be dispersed throughout the surrounding neighborhood according to our parking map. Crews of 20+ should plan to secure an off-site parking lot. - Vehicles parked in the driveway must be free of oil leaks. Dual-axle vehicles and vehicles with metal loading gates are not permitted in the driveway. - All production trash must be hauled out at wrap. Our residential trash bins are NOT available for production waste. - A valid film permit is required for productions with more than 5 people and for outdoor filming where applicable unless otherwise discussed. - The primary bedroom and office are available for an additional $300 each, unless otherwise discussed. Our light beige Couch and dining chairs may be used as part of a shot but should not be used for general crew seating, eating, or equipment storage. Crew meals and food consumption should take place outdoors unless weather does not permit. Shoots wrapping after 7:00 PM are billed at 1.5× the hourly rate unless otherwise agreed upon. Weekend shoots are subject to additional fees. As this is a residential neighborhood, we cannot control outside activity such as construction, landscaping or other neighborhood noise. We will always make reasonable efforts to help mitigate disruptions, but cannot be responsible for resulting production delays, costs or losses. By confirming receipt, you acknowledge these rules and agree to communicate them to your entire crew prior to arrival. You get driveway spots as well as 3-5 spots on our side of the street in front of our house - the rest of cars we request to scatter on different streets throughout the neighborhood.
