More and better photos coming! -- Up on the climbing hills of Highland Park, built into the hillside, this most unique dark and spooky yet beautiful old house appears to be 2 floors from one view but shows all 3 floors from other views. Gothic sloped and peaked rooflines with 2 chimneys (for the 5 original and different fireplaces inside!), this is a truly Historic designated landmark called La Paloma when built, but goes by #Marsakmanor today. Homeowner and Historian Nathan Marsak has painstakingly restored and beautifully decorated this Architectual masterpiece to period correctness, with historic lighting, antiques, and good taste. As the lady of the the manor, I own and operate my vintage/antique clothing business from home but have the space to move whatever needs to be moved for a shoot. The Master bedroom boasts a sitting area with Batchelder fireplace and a nooked-in impressive bed with curtains around. There are a ridiculous amount of stairs with dark wood paneling. The house has 3 bathrooms, with 2 having clawfoot tubs, and one being outdoors off the kitchen for convenience. There is good size yards and gardenings, with a separate building as the carriage house/garage with driveway. There are 2 large decks outside that can be used for workspace or meals. Very production friendly set up with close street access to load into library or from driveway to back of house. We have thrown many parties and events here, and look forward to working with creative artists to make their film and photography visions come true.
