Welcome to our beautiful Spanish home filled with mid-century style. Built in 1933, our home has recently been renovated, but we kept the original floor plan and unique details. INTERIOR Living room - Gets a ton of light from windows on three sides. A large leather sofa and live edge wood table combine with mid-century armchairs to create a total vibe around the fire place. The room is lined with unique shelving, ceramics, and fancy art books (some of which I've even read). There are a variety of blankets and fur pelts to dress the scene and a record player to set the mood. Master Bedroom - A stained glass window provides stunning color and privacy in our bedroom. A king size bed with a tasteful wood frame is flanked by, matching mid-century bedside tables. Two dressers are also unique solid wood creations. An exterior door and leads out into the backyard providing a ton of excellent light in the space. We even have an original coral lamp from the 1970s. Kitchen/Dining Room - We have a sleek modern kitchen with great light and tasteful cookware & towels. Our modern marble dining room table is set off by a mid-century wooden hutch lined with all manner of unique - muted ceramic & stoneware. Kids Bedrooms (1 Boy, 1 Girl) - We have two kids and their bedrooms are both tastefully decorated with classic touches that are both cozy and lived-in without too much modern garbage that gives you a headache. Handmade Winnie-the-Pooh dolls sleeping in an old bunkbed set. A vintage Beatles calendar. Wooden furniture. Matching spindle post beds. EXTERIOR - Classic white adobe finish and Spanish tile roof. (humble brag, but we just got selected for our neighborhood garden tour, nbd) Backyard - A total oasis. Spacious Arizona flagstones and curated landscaping make our backyard a lush, private escape. A California pepper tree grows in one corner and a lemon tree across from it. A wide variety of cacti and succulents frame the space. Front Porch - Classic reddish tile with old school metal chairs. Front Yard - Arizona flagstone path leads to wrought iron front gate. Japanese pine and silver dollar eucalyptus are the major trees, but acacia and succulents frame the yard as well. Portico - no Spanish house would be complete with out some bougainvillea - ours is purple and frames the portico beautifully in the front.
