Scenic Bayfront Theater with Golden Gate Bridge View
About the Space
Located along the San Francisco waterfront in the historic Fort Mason Center between Fisherman’s Wharf and the Golden Gate Bridge, the 200-seat Bayfront Theater is the ideal place to hold a performance, conference, or gathering. The theater features a modern proscenium, auditorium-quality seating, a concessions stand with cafe seating, and both on- and off-stage wheelchair accessibility. Performer and house manager amenities include a green room, two dressing rooms, a ticket counter, a tech booth with sound and light board, and a projector. The Bayfront Theater is available for rent most weekdays and often weeknights Sunday through Thursday. Stage Our stage has dimensions 21" feet deep x 18" wide, plus additional space in the wings. Backstage Area Backstage there are two dressing rooms and a green room. There is no running water backstage, restroom facilities are located just down the hall from the the Bayfront. Lobby/Concessions We have a lobby area (with a spectacular view) which can be used as a reception area, or to serve concessions. Screenings: Newly (2024) installed Epson Pro EX11000 projector which can be operated from light booth or by HDMI onstage or backstage. Please note limited visibility for side seats and some seats by columns. (Limits capacity to ~164). Tech Lighting - theatrical lighting with full wash, center stage spot Sound - Wired microphones on stage, can run audio from booth. A/V - we have a projector with HDMI and VGA connections

Space is equipped with HEPA-certified air filters. Large windows can be opened on all sides for cross-ventilation. Space is professionally cleaned between rentals. Cost for cleaning included in rental cost.
Cancellation Policy
Flexible
Guests may cancel their Booking until seven days before the event start time and will receive a full refund (including all Fees) of their Booking Price. Guests may cancel their Booking between seven days and 24 hours before the event start time and receive a 50% refund (excluding Fees) of their Booking Price. Booking cancellations submitted less than 24 hours before the Event start time are not refundable. Learn More
