YES, we have AIR CONDITIONING! We would never let our guests sweat it out during a shoot. This exciting new space was designed by and for photographers and filmmakers who love an Annie Leibowitz style aesthetic and awarded by Peerspace as the top photo shoot location worldwide in 2024. Textured walls in earthy tones are paired with rustic, weathered furniture and set dressing to ensure an authentic feel that perfectly suits an editorial look without extra fuss. Guests always tell us it’s much larger than it appears in photos. Enter through our 10'x12' roll up door into a 210 sq foot sage green landing area with our brand new amber-toned wood paneled corner. The main shooting space is almost 700 sq feet of completely open space, unencumbered by walls or barriers. Add lighting and shoot in any direction. Furniture and set dressing is designed to be interchangeable and moveable. A hallway off the main space will lead you to a private restroom and amenities area, and finally to a well-appointed hair and makeup area flooded with soft natural light, the coolest leopard print carpet you've ever seen and an Impressions vanity mirror for shoots after dark. Some guests may even want to shoot in our makeup room and you are welcome to do so. For productions with more than 12 guests, the additional fee includes an additional dressing room/ green room/ office on site. It's over 200 square feet and includes a 2 person desk with chairs and a large corner sectional sofa. Although we have a 2 hour minimum, based on guest feedback we recommend at least 3 hours in order to cycle through the many background options we have available. If you have a wardrobe stylist or underage talent, you'll want to add the additional dressing room/ green room under add-ons. It's available as a half day or full day rental which should correspond with the length of your shoot. Pricing is as follows, please do not budget your shoot based on the entry rate if you have a larger cast & crew. 1-2: $75/ hr (this is a discounted rate to accommodate only the tiniest of shoots, this is NOT our standard starting rate) 3-5 - $85/ hr (standard starting rate) 6-8 - $100 hr 9-11 - $110 12-15 - $140/ hr Weekend bookings and late night hours have an additional surcharge Bookable hours are 6am-midnight daily. You may extend bookings later than midnight if needed but overnight hours will be billed at overtime rates. Please book as much time as you expect to need for your entire shoot, including load-in, load out, resetting any moved furniture and clean-up. Any shoot extensions requested later than 3 hours prior to your start time will be billed as OT (at 1.5x your hourly rate). OT will also begin automatically if you haven’t vacated the space promptly at the end of your booking. Your end time means taillights, not packing up/ cleaning up. There is no grace period so please keep track of your time in the space and set an alarm if you need to. Ultimately the person booking is responsible for making sure that everyone is aware of the rules and time booked in the space. Please be sure to book for the correct number of guests who will be present in the space for your shoot. If we notice more than the expected number of guests in the space, we will upgrade your booking to the appropriate pricing tier on the back end. LIGHT: The space gets a small amount of natural light only when the roll-up door is open. There are no windows in the shooting area. Otherwise it is dimly lit by overhead daylight balanced (CRI 95) tube house lights for accurate color rendering on camera. Please visit our rental catalog for lighting and grip options available to you. We also have a Westcott continuous spider lite with soft box in the space for a quick, simple lighting set up. SOUND: The space is not sound proof. We're located inside a business warehouse complex so you're likely to hear the sporadic beeping of delivery trucks, the sounds of cars driving by & possibly outdoor conversations between neighbors. If your shoot requires recording extremely clean, uninterrupted audio, please book after 5pm on weekdays or on weekends when it's more likely to be quiet. Sundays are the quietest. Ambient noise can also be cleaned up using Descript AI. Any daytime/ weekday shoots that require audio must work around whatever ambient noise exists around the space without any interaction with our neighbors. It is slightly more likely to occur if you change the time of your shoot last minute or stay into overtime.
