Retro Space Calgary

Inspired by 60s, 70s & 80s interiors, each room is unique with true vintage charm and decor. Photoshoots and music videos have been filmed in our space, there is a kitchenette, living room, dining area, sleeping area, tiled bathroom and sauna room. We were going for Eric Foreman’s house meets Boogie Nights meets Scarface meets Virgin Suicides. There is true vintage foil wallpaper in the dining area and a glass block window in the living room space. We’ve reupholstered a rounded edge couch and sourced glass and gold furniture for what we call the Scarface Mancave. The Sauna room is a bit like a Private Eyes moment and the kitchenette color palate came off 60s kitchen ideas on Pinterest. This house was built in the 60s and some of the furniture is from the original home owner. We worked with the existing wall tile to decide some of the paint colors and sprayed the entire roof of the man cave black. We love the space and we’ve seen some really awesome art made in it.
