**About the Property**
Built in 1921, the building was originally owned by Norma Talmadge for whom the street and entire "Norma Triangle" neighborhood was named. Norma was an actress and film producer of Hollywood’s Silent Era. A major box-office draw for more than a decade, her career peaked in the early 1920s, when she was among the most popular screen idols of the time. This building served as a cherished wardrobe sanctuary for Norma's acting friends, and became a social hotspot for luminaries of the golden era - including Charlie Chaplin, Bette Davis, Rita Hayworth, Elizabeth Taylor and Judy Garland. The front porch itself graced the "Gone with the Wind" set.
