H.K. Curated Space is a 4,400 sq ft, large scale photography, film, and event studio located on the top floor of a Victorian textile factory, just two miles from Leicester train station. The studio features a vaulted ceiling (minimum height 3m), original factory windows to both East and West elevations, overhead skylights, and original wooden flooring throughout. A mix of raw architectural elements and curated zones allows for multiple shooting zones and can also accomodate meeting or workshop setups. Please note whilst our hourly rate is displayed, we only accept full (8hr) or half day (4hr) bookings. Featuring a 1970s yellow Formica finish, bare plaster backsplash, and modern white countertops, the kitchen is designed as a shoot environment for food led photography and film. Please note: the kitchen is a shoot environment only and is not a commercial catering facility. If you wish to use the Kitchen facilities, please see separate lisiting. Props & Styling The studio houses a considered collection of props and styling pieces, including mid-century and post-modern furniture, chairs, sofas, tables, lamps, rugs, and objects. The collection focuses on authentic, vintage pieces, chosen for their character and sourced with an eco-conscious approach. Hire includes access to the existing prop collection. Heating can be provided via industrial heaters, this service is charged as an add on. Ceilings, walls, and floors are in original condition Ample on-site parking with no height restrictions (spaces to be booked in advance) A studio representative is on hand throughout the hire to assist with access and props Hospitality For half-day and full-day studio hires, we provide: Hot drinks Still and sparkling water Fruit bowls and pastries on arrival These are replenished throughout the day. The studio is also serviced by Deliveroo and Uber Eats. Rates & Enquiries Studio hire is quoted based on project type, crew size, and access requirements. Please message with details of your shoot or production to confirm availability and pricing. We do not accept hourly bookings, full or half days only.
