Our private voiceover and recording booth is a great option for voice actors, podcasters, vocalists, and other audio professionals looking for a quiet, acoustically treated space to record. The 4' x 4' VocalBooth™ is located inside a dedicated 150 sq. ft. room, giving you privacy and additional separation from the rest of the studio. The VB Gold Series booth features acoustic treatment designed to reduce outside noise and create a controlled recording environment. RECORDING EQUIPMENT PROVIDED The booth is equipped with: • RØDE NT1-A large-diaphragm condenser microphone • RØDE shock mount and pop filter • Focusrite Scarlett 2i2 (2nd Gen) USB audio interface • Sony MDR-7506 professional monitor headphones • COKYISS MicroAmp HA800 8-channel headphone amplifier • XLR microphone cable • USB cable for connecting the Focusrite Scarlett 2i2 to your device • USB-to-USB-C adapter for laptops and devices with USB-C ports, including newer MacBooks • Microphone stand • Acoustically treated VocalBooth™ PLEASE NOTE: THIS IS A SELF-SERVICE RECORDING BOOTH We provide the recording space and equipment listed above, but a recording engineer is not included with your rental. Renters should bring their own laptop or recording device with their preferred recording software already installed. The Focusrite Scarlett 2i2 is connected via USB, and a USB-to-USB-C adapter is provided for laptops and devices with USB-C ports, including newer MacBooks. If your device requires a connection other than standard USB or USB-C, please bring the appropriate adapter. We recommend being familiar with your recording software and confirming that your device is compatible with the equipment listed above before your session. As this is a self-service rental, staff may not be available to assist with equipment setup, recording software, or technical troubleshooting. Depending on the time of your booking, a staff member will either be available to let you into the studio or you will receive a unique access code prior to your session so you can enter the studio on your own. PEARL DISTRICT LOCATION Our studio is conveniently located in Portland's Pearl District, close to cafes, restaurants, parking, and public transportation. Street parking is available outside of the studio.
