Welcome to The Sacred Rest Spot. Nestled in Waldorf, MD, this 315-square-foot wellness studio is a sacred, soulfully curated space perfect for healing sessions, intimate group work, and personal rest. Comfortably fitting up to 7 yoga mats (including space for an instructor; for less prop intensive practices), The Sacred Rest Spot is ideal for: Restorative, slow flow, or vinyasa yoga Reiki, energy healing, or bodywork Sound baths and breathwork Private journaling, meditation, or personal retreat Intimate small group sessions (max 7 people) The open layout of the studio allows for flexible setup based on your needs. You can roll out yoga mats for group practice, create a cozy circle with folding chairs for group reflection, or simply rest on the chaise with supportive items for a solo ritual. The studio easily transitions from movement-based classes to seated ceremonies, private healing work, or self-guided time for stillness and restoration. Arrival & Flow The Sacred Rest Spot is located on the first floor of my home and accessed through a shared front entrance. To honor the space’s sacred nature, guests are kindly asked to remove their shoes upon entering. A small rug, shoe storage basket, and space for personal belongings are provided. Slipper socks are available upon request. From the moment you step inside, the studio is designed to offer a peaceful, private, and grounded experience. Included with each booking: 4 folding chairs and a chaise lounge Essential oils, diffuser, salt lamp, sage, and matches Water feature and adjustable overhead + backlighting Access to a private half-bathroom (not included in sq footage) Optional Add-Ons (fee applies): Full set of yoga props (blocks, bolsters, blankets, straps, 2 sandbags) Reiki/massage table (300 lb weight limit) Sound instruments (crystal bowls, chimes, etc.) Tea and intention ritual bundle Rental Policies: Minimum booking: 1.5 hours (includes guest setup + breakdown) Earliest booking start: 8:00 AM Final bookings must end by 7:00 PM Cleaning fees apply (see Add-Ons section) Whether you're facilitating or simply being, The Sacred Rest Spot is a gentle and supportive space to root, reflect, and restore.

The Sacred Rest Spot is tended with intention to ensure that each guest enters a space that feels fresh, peaceful, and cared for. We take great pride in maintaining a sanctuary that supports your rest and healing. Here’s what we do to prepare the space for you: Between Every Guest: The studio floor is mopped at the beginning or end of each day. The bathroom (toilet, sink, light switches, door handles, and fixtures) is thoroughly disinfected. Paper towels are provided for single-use drying in the bathroom. All used towels are machine washed after each guest. If used, the massage/Reiki table is wiped down and disinfected. Yoga props (bolsters, blocks, blankets, and straps) are sprayed with an antiseptic solution and aired out between sessions. The diffuser is cleaned and air circulation is supported with regular ventilation. Ongoing Maintenance: Air filters are changed every 2–3 months to help maintain clean, breathable air. The chaise and soft furnishings are regularly cleaned with fabric-safe disinfectant. High-touch items—like light switches, door handles, and sound instruments—are wiped down with care. Guest Comfort & Consideration: You’re invited to remove your shoes upon entering to help keep the space clean and grounded. A place for shoes and personal items is provided. Hand sanitizer and wipes are available should you wish to use them during your time here. If there’s ever anything you need to feel more at ease, please don’t hesitate to ask.
Cancellation Policy

Guests may cancel their Booking until seven days before the event start time and will receive a full refund (including all Fees) of their Booking Price. Guests may cancel their Booking between seven days and 24 hours before the event start time and receive a 50% refund (excluding Fees) of their Booking Price. Booking cancellations submitted less than 24 hours before the Event start time are not refundable. Learn More
