Pre-Clean Procedures
- Confirm booking end time and allow minimum 30–60 minutes turnover time (adjust by property size).
- Ventilate space: open windows/doors for at least 10–15 minutes if weather permits.
- Remove all trash and personal items left by guest. Photograph and log any lost items.
Turnover Cleaning Steps (room-by-room)
General (all areas)
- Remove trash and replace liners.
- Dust high surfaces, light fixtures, and vents.
- Clean and disinfect high-touch surfaces: doorknobs, light switches, remote controls, tabletops, handrails, cabinet handles, thermostats.
- Wipe down walls/door frames if visibly soiled.
- Vacuum floors; mop hard floors with disinfectant solution.
- Check and replace batteries in remotes / ensure electronics are functional.
- Ensure HVAC/air purifiers are on and filters are clean.
- Clear and wipe countertops, sink, faucet, and backsplash with disinfectant.
- Clean and sanitize all used appliances’ touch points (microwave handle, fridge handle, oven knobs).
- Run dishwasher or wash used dishes; store clean.
- Empty and sanitize trash and recycling bins.
