- History of our Space - Built in 1910, the Livestock Exchange Building was seen as a fortress of commerce for Kansas City and the western territory. With 475 offices, the building housed the Stockyards Company, telegraph offices, banks, restaurants, railroad and packing house representatives, and government agencies. It was the largest livestock exchange building in the world and one of the largest office buildings in Kansas City. - Neighborhood Details - Surrounded by an eclectic mix of businesses, the West Bottoms are home to many artists, architecture studios, and antique dealers. If your looking for a fun bar and unique bar experience after a long day of shooting or workshops, The Campground is right across the street. Next door to that is a favorite of ours, Lucky Boys, and the beautiful KC restaurant Voltaire. - Logistics + Space Set up - We have a very versatile studio space set up that is easily rearranged to encourage creative freedom. Feel free to move our couches, tables, and rugs to get the exact feel you want for your photo/video shoot/ workshop. We have a moveable stand with a mounted monitor (HDMI and USB-C), small refrigerator, and HomePod Speaker for your use as well.
