Located inside TFA’s new creative hub, the studio sits within a growing artistic district near QEW and Islington Avenue, easily accessible and surrounded by cafés, shops, and a mix of urban culture that complements the creative energy of the space. History & Background Since the launch of its new creative hub, TFA has become a destination for the fashion, media, and entertainment community. The space has hosted a dynamic roster of events and high-profile clients, including fashion shows, brand activations, designer showrooms, pop-up retail, product launches, and corporate functions. The Space Featuring 2,500 sq. ft. of high-ceiling space with abundant natural light from north-facing windows, the studio includes a 25x25 cyclorama infinity wall capable of supporting up to 2 tons—strong enough for vehicle shoots. Guests have access to ambient lighting, a built-in sound system, a public washroom, and convenient parking. Flexible setups can be arranged depending on the event’s size and requirements. Studio Space The 1,000 sq. ft. production studio features high ceilings and bright north-facing windows, ideal for photography and video production. Hourly and daily rates are available, and all bookings include setup and teardown time, with the option to customize packages with additional equipment or services. Layout & Logistics Guests have access to all studio areas relevant to their booking, including prep stations, designated makeup/hair areas, equipment zones, client seating, and load-in access through the garage door. Tables and chairs can be set up based on the needs of the production or event. Public transit, highways, and ample onsite parking make arrival simple for both small and large teams. Studio Packages Hourly Rate: $145/hr (2-hour minimum) Half Day Booking (4–5 hours) Includes site manager, 1 hair + 1 makeup station, steamer/rolling rack, prep station (table + 2 chairs), $1 café access, WiFi, music, and partial pre-light kit. Full Day Booking (6–8 hours) Includes site manager, 2 hair + 2 makeup stations, steamer/rolling racks, full prep station (2–4 tables + 4–6 chairs), $1 café access, priority load-in, WiFi, music, and partial pre-light kit. Additional $50 fee applies if the studio floor requires repainting. Studio Equipment Add-Ons A complete selection of in-house production equipment is available (strobe kits, continuous lights, stands, modifiers, reflectors, flags, diffusion frames, and more). Items can be added to any booking. Turnkey Production Support Backed by TFA & the Fashion & Entertainment Council of Canada (FECC), full-service production support is available—set design, creative direction, luxury partnerships, graphic design, marketing, and world-class event management. Special Rates Pricing can be customized based on the scope of the event, production needs, or multi-day bookings. Rates may vary for larger gatherings, extended hours, or high-demand periods.
