Welcome to Chateau Detroit, located in Historic University District. This 1920's Tudor style home has been renovated to match the old charm of its original built and revamped with modern touches. Designed in a French-Parisian Modern design style throughout, this home boasts spacious rooms and great for events, photoshoots, luncheon, music videos, etc. Why book with us at Chateau Detroit? We offer complimentary pre showings of the home prior to your booking to make sure we can meet your event needs. Cleaning up fees are included your books costs so we will take care of all bagged items that need to be disposed of. BOOKINGS CAN BE USED FOR: any event such as engagement parties, photoshoots, photography sessions, music videos, small/medium ceremonies, tv/commercial and more. Rooms/overnight stays can be done upon request and approval. If there are special inquires or questions, please feel free to reach out and we can try and accommodate requests depending on time and client needs. ABOUT CHATEAU DETROIT: This home is a personal residence of the host so bookings and accommodations in advance are encouraged and appreciated. We will in almost every booking be on site but out of sight in case anything is needed; as well as welcoming you into the space and seeing what last minute touches might be needed or explained before your event starts. We will be here 100% is any questions or concerns pop up during your event booking. Host is a professional interior designer and can accommodate any decor needs for flower arrangements throughout, table settings for dining etc. (Please inquire and additional fees can be applied). ROOMS IN DETAILS: Formal Living Room - Spacious 25'+ length room boasts two large carmel velvet 9' sofas that flank a wood hand carved and plaster fireplace mantle. Additional hair-on-hide stools for seating. Real working fireplace can be used if desired (please notify in advance so wood can be provided for an additional fee). Lighting in this space can be altered and set to the intended needs of the event; from moody lit crown molding showcasing 100 year old original craftsmanship to a fully lit space from the emerald cut infinity style crystal chandelier. ---- Dining Room- Relaxing and bright design of this space accommodates 6-8 people for table seating. Custom privacy linen drapery can be pulled for a more comfortable and private room. Lighting again can be dimmed or fully lit if guests desire to use the large overhead 36" crystal cut fluted chandeliers, matching scones, and/or vintage brass table lamps on the sideboard. Guests can opt for full table scape designs, platted dining, fresh flowers, decor for all occasion is needed (for additional cost) ---- Outdoor Covered Patio- Seating for 4 with French Neoclassical cushioned chairs sitting atop of a travertine herringbone tiled floor. ---- Kitchen- Can be fully utilized for catering, counter space, fridge to keep items, etc. ---- Upstairs Bedrooms- All these spaces can be added as additional needs for possible overnight stays upon approval by host and agreement between both parties. If bedrooms are needed for event needs, this is included in your rental hourly rate. There are 3 full bedrooms that sit under 19th century. Rococo chandeliers and wrapped in luxury linens, pillows, and down conformers. The primary bedroom features an oversized chocolate velvet bed with ambient fireplace and tv. Opened up to an expansive primary bath with soaking tub for one and large tiled shower with rain shower, double vanity. ---- Upstairs TV Room- Relaxing sectional sitting centered in a color drenched French Blue room equipped with a 52" tv. connected to Netflix, Prime video, etc.

Cancellation Policy

Flexible

Guests may cancel their Booking until seven days before the event start time and will receive a full refund (including all Fees) of their Booking Price. Guests may cancel their Booking between seven days and 24 hours before the event start time and receive a 50% refund (excluding Fees) of their Booking Price. Booking cancellations submitted less than 24 hours before the Event start time are not refundable. Learn More
All Bookings are subject to Peerspace’s Grace Period policy which provides a full refund for Bookings cancelled within 24 hours from receipt of a Booking Confirmation but no later than 48 hours prior to the Event start time.
