The setting seems scripted: Wisteria-draped front veranda of this circa 1905 Victorian Cottage looks out to beautiful and verdant Grant Park, second largest green space in Atlanta. The large dining table was once part of a woodworker's shop. It's surrounded by a set of gorgeously distressed metal lawn chairs rescued from under an OG river house near Lookout Mountain, TN. An enormous rustic Solaria chandelier rounds out the vibe. Stepping into the house, first-time guests almost always stop in their tracks to take in the view, all the way through the house and out the back. This eclectic, art-filled interior exudes charm and reads like a travelog. Built in 1905, it features a classic 7 ft. wide "dog trot" hallway, flanked by public areas to one side and bedrooms on the other. The back of the house was blown out to create large, open spaces (living room, dining room, kitchen), accommodating a wide range of filming perspectives. Weather permitting, crews enjoy eating on the two shaded decks that are literally in the treetops. Other options include flagstone patios and gardens that stretch to a majestic magnolia holding court over the fire pit, where many a Christmas tree has been burned (don't tell!). Off-street parking is provided for three cars. Street parking is available around the corner. An underground parking deck is 1/2 block away.
