The Gathering KC is a beautifully restored event venue located in Kansas City’s East Side. With 43-foot cathedral ceilings, a grand Main Hall, private suites, and a flexible floor plan, it’s the ideal space for weddings, galas, corporate events, fundraisers, and community gatherings. The Main Hall can seat up to 300 guests and features an integrated sound system, LED wall, stage lighting, and TV monitors—perfect for live performances, presentations, or receptions. Just off the stage, you’ll find a green room and storage space for performers or event staff. Upstairs, a private suite offers a quiet retreat for bridal parties or VIPs. The venue includes a warming kitchen for your licensed caterer, a private parking lot, and an on-site property manager to support your event. All furniture setup and post-event cleaning are included. The Gathering KC provides full cleaning services after each event. Our team handles all venue-related cleaning, including floors, restrooms, and removal of venue furniture. You're only responsible for removing personal items, décor, outside rentals, florals, signage, and catering materials by the end of your rental time. We also ask that caterers complete our Catering Kitchen Checklist before departure. We thoroughly sanitize high-touch surfaces and restrooms between events to ensure a clean, safe environment for every guest.
Guests may cancel their Booking until 90 days before the event start time and will receive a full refund (including all Fees) of their Booking Price. Guests may cancel their Booking between 90 days and 14 days before the event start time and receive a 50% refund (excluding Fees) of their Booking Price. Cancellations submitted less than 14 days before the Event start time are not refundable. Learn More
