Need a small theater but not a black box? Our intimate theater is perfect for a -30 peaople event or a film crew that wants to film a play with ease or customize the space! Set behind an authentic Urgent Care (now a stage), it sits right on the intersection of Venice Blvd. and Colidge Ave. Inside, our 400 sq/ft space includes concrete floors, high ceilings, large concrete walls to the side and a flat back wall perfect for projecting images. It has 13.5-foot-wide stage with approximately 7.5 feet of playing depth was designed for stand-up and medium ensemble work. A ceiling-mounted pipe grid with 4 LED PAR wash lights and a focusable spotlight (DMX compatible, not included), and plenty of open space and chairs for 30 people. From plays to private movie nights, from press events, off-site meetings, art exhibitions, workshops, private parties, and more... we can accommodate any type of occasion. There's a restroom and production area next to it. An office with an ensuite bathroom (which can be used for wardrobe/makeup or talent holding), perfect to set up your crafty and working areas. Or just a simple, nice foyer to the theater's bathroom. We have large commercial dumpsters to take care of restoration. There's also a parking area and plenty of free street parking surrounding the building for your crew. On-site parking next to it can handle 5-7 vehicles or allow you to place outdoor pop-up tents and keep your truck parked off street (extra). Since the parking lot and building are privately owned property, it eases your permitting process significantly.
