About Mooney House

Mooney House is a historic private dining and event space located inside the Edward Mooney House, built in 1785 and known as the oldest brick row house in Manhattan. The space has a warm, intimate feel with original details, wood floors, and vintage chandeliers. It is set up for seated dinners of up to 40 guests and works well for gatherings that feel elevated but relaxed. There are four large solid wood vintage tables that can be arranged together or separately depending on the setup. A lounge area and a fully equipped commercial kitchen make it easy to host both dining and production focused events. The commercial kitchen includes an oven, induction burners, salamander broiler, prep space, refrigeration, and dishwasher. Suitable for chefs, catering teams, and food production. The space is fully furnished with tables, chairs, tableware for 40, and a sound system. It is ready to host dinners, shoots, and curated events with minimal setup.

We maintain the space to a high standard with thorough cleaning after each booking. Surfaces, floors, kitchen, and bathroom are fully sanitised, and the space is reset to its original layout. We take pride in keeping everything fresh, organized, and ready for each guest.

Cancellation Policy

Flexible

Guests may cancel their Booking until seven days before the event start time and will receive a full refund (including all Fees) of their Booking Price. Guests may cancel their Booking between seven days and 24 hours before the event start time and receive a 50% refund (excluding Fees) of their Booking Price. Booking cancellations submitted less than 24 hours before the Event start time are not refundable. Learn More

All Bookings are subject to Peerspace’s Grace Period policy which provides a full refund for Bookings cancelled within 24 hours from receipt of a Booking Confirmation but no later than 48 hours prior to the Event start time.
