Welcome to Brooklyn optics, We have a medical vintage set with props. All of the props are authentic medical usage. Some of the medical artifacts dates from the 1920s, 1930s to 1960s. This is an authentic dystopian blistered white monochromatic vibe. For production designers, DP's, those seeking cinematic effect via visual tactile artifacts as storytelling they know what they're looking at. This is perfect for period pieces, medical horror or documentary interviews storytelling sensitive subject matter. We have a 4-hour minimum only applicable towards the weekdays. Weekends are full day bookings or if you try us two days prior we could try to see if it fits within schedules of our other shoots. You are renting the space, 1920s hospital Gurnee, furniture, vintage white enameled hanging lights, vintage wall medical charts, chairs, doctor stool, 1920s hospital partition. The vintage medical instruments, hospital gowns, medical bottles, vintage paper ephemeral are separate as add-ons. Please see our packages for additional prop rentals. Upon arrival we are happy to move items or furniture upon your initial setup: We will move furniture, medical exam light etc. , remove medical charts if necessary - A one-time change. If you need to do More than one change The onus is on your booking to reach out to us to make prior arrangements prior to your booking. If not it's a one-time change allowance. Much of the items are original- not an Amazon prop, so the medicine boxes, If rented from our package add-on are delicate @ circa 1940s- We don't even open the boxes. That's why it's a pristine prop. We do not allow productions to handle some of the delicate items without prior permission, including the exam light, IV station because they will not survive continual casual handling or low-grade acting. Alternately, you're welcome to bring your own medical paper, instruments, bottles, medical costumes, if this works better towards your production needs. Our authentic medical artifacts are 60 to 100 years old and cannot be replicated without painstaking searching. If you do agree to use this space we ask that you make a plan, we will move the objects happily for you but they cannot be indiscriminately handled. We are requiring a $500 refundable deposit if nothing is damaged, etc. The glass block window can be blacked out or screened with the vintage aluminum shades but no access to the exterior. For productions having 10 plus people we do have an auxiliary space that can be utilized as a support space. See add-on We actually have multiple listings all housed in a four story industrial building with library, vintage truck loading dock, dystopian industrial loft, even a roof garden just to name some. If the above does not work towards your needs, please find another space.
