About the Space

You notice it the moment you step through that oversize pivot door — two terracotta vessels flanking a charcoal plaster entry corridor that frames a direct sightline straight through to green canyon hillside. It's a cinematic reveal before a single light is rigged. The exterior reads clean California modernism: flat roofline, pale stucco volume, minimal landscaping with sculptural succulents and ornamental grasses, and a concrete ribbon driveway with grass-joint strips that gives productions a polished arrival sequence without dressing a thing. The street approach is quiet, the geometry is bold, and the palm silhouettes against hillside sky read beautifully on any lens. Inside, the main living level opens into a vast open-plan great room with polished concrete floors in a warm mid-grey tone — seamless, continuous, no grout lines breaking camera movement. Ceiling height is generous, easily ten-plus feet, with recessed cans on dimmers and a sculptural orange-copper pendant cluster over the dining zone that already functions as a practical art piece. Floor-to-ceiling black-framed sliding glass panels span the rear wall, erasing the line between interior and exterior and flooding the space with south-facing afternoon light. The kitchen is a full production asset: flat-front wood-grain cabinetry in a warm greige, white quartz island, and a raw concrete hood column that drops from ceiling to cooktop — architectural, textured, distinct. A powder room off the main hall is wrapped in polished dark micro-cement with a floating concrete vanity shelf and backlit mirror: five square feet that photograph like a fashion editorial backdrop. Downstairs, the primary suite sits behind glass sliders opening to its own private terrace with canyon green views. The en-suite bathroom is a full scene — charcoal walls, freestanding white soaking tub, globe pendant cluster, and an oversized raw-wood-framed floor mirror that creates natural depth and reflection. Every bathroom in this house has been finished with intention, and each one reads differently on camera. The exterior is where this property really separates itself for production. A large rectangular lap pool with spa sits at the center of a generous limestone-tiled deck, bordered by mature tropical landscaping — cycads, bird of paradise, fan palms, agave — that creates natural containment and visual texture without any dressing needed. A poolside guest structure with louvered shade canopy and outdoor dining area functions as a ready-made base camp or secondary filming zone. The hillside backdrop rising behind the pool gives every exterior wide shot a sense of elevation and seclusion. Connectivity between the kitchen, main terrace, and pool deck via multiple sliding glass walls means productions can move talent and crew fluidly across three distinct zones with minimal turnaround. For events, this property handles scale gracefully. The open great room flows through to the exterior entertaining areas, giving you a combined footprint that can absorb a cocktail reception, a brand activation, a product launch, or an intimate seated dinner with equal ease. Catering has full access to a professional-grade kitchen. The pool deck works for sunset receptions, and the natural hillside bowl creates surprisingly good natural acoustics. Holding areas, equipment staging, and base camp can be accommodated on the front driveway apron and surrounding approach — the flat grade and quiet residential street make logistics straightforward for mid-size productions and events alike.
