Located in the North East part of San Francisco's Mission District the studio is a stand-alone, single unit building with a one-car garage and easy street level access. This unique, one of a kind building is officially designated as a live/work loft space and can easily transition into a photo, film or video production studio, warehouse, boardroom, classroom, office, flex space, home or workshop. The building features exposed brick walls, hardwood floors, large skylights with natural light and blackout blinds, high ceilings, full kitchen and a tasteful mix of modern and antique furnishings. The main room is set back from the street, away from traffic noise. We have been working with professional photographers, videographers, and producers for over 20 years. FILM & VIDEO PRODUCTIONS The shooting area is set back from the street and very quiet but it is not a sound stage. We cannot guarantee the noise level. OUR BUILDING Originally built in the 1920's as the Nederland Bakery, it became Klub Komotion in the mid-80's and played an important role in San Francisco's alternative art and underground music scene up until the mid-90's. In 2000 the interior of the building underwent extensive remodeling into its current incarnation. We love that this space has hosted and continues to be a part of so many groundbreaking and creative projects. CONVENIENCE Depending on traffic, we are a 10 minute ride from downtown or a 20 minute ride from SFO. We are within easy walking distance of BART & MUNI lines, local stores and cafes such as Tartine Manufactory, Stable Cafe, Dandelion Chocolate Factory and Cafe, Mission Bowling, Gus's Market, Rainbow Grocery, Peet's Coffee and Best Buy.
