The William B. Waters House is a 1911 gem just across the Fremont Bridge from downtown in Irvington. It combines modern amenities with the charm and character of vintage Portland. It is available for photography and filming. Please note that the rate will be increased for major film & television production. You'll enjoy a spacious, freshly renovated 1st floor apartment, with living room, dining room, kitchen, one bathroom and 2.5 bedrooms. Features include: - 10 feet high ceilings - Large original wood casement windows throughout - New stone entry and new oak floors throughout - Original vintage fixtures - Rough hewn stone fireplace - New quartz countertops. - Well equipped kitchen with pots, pans, serving dishes, silverware and dishes for 8 people, French press, various kitchen utensils and tools. Kitchen appliances include Vitamix blender, Cuisinart coffee maker, food processor, toaster etc. Microwave available upon request. Please note there is no dishwasher. - Linens and towels along with organic bath products - Solid hardwood live-edge dining table - Fast Wifi - Xfinity Cable TV - Netflix - Apple TV - Bluetooth speaker - New fast and efficient furnace (and central air conditioning) - Original artwork throughout - Books, magazines, games and puzzles - Tennis rackets & balls, umbrellas, picnic basket - Only non-toxic, green, sustainable house cleaners are used. We strive to maintain positive relations with them, so for this reason we ask that you respect house rules and avoid parking near neighbors driveways. Interaction with guests We assume you want privacy and we respect that. The William Waters house is a 3-story historic home and the upper levels of the home are a separate unit which we reside in. We are usually available if needed but we assume you want privacy and we respect that. While generally very quiet, there is some minimal sound transference. Quiet hours are between 10pm and 7am. Again, parties are strictly prohibited.
