Urban recreational cooking school

The space is a spacious modern recreational cooking school. It is perfect for pop-up dinners, corporate parties and meetings and birthday/bachelor/bachelorette/ rehearsal dinner parties. It has a huge "residential-like" modern kitchen with prep tables and then a charming dining area complete with casual dining booths, a small stage and an attached retail space. It is conveniently located in lakeview/wrigleville/boystown two blocks from Wrigley Field on the corner of Addison & Broadway. Extremely easy to get to via public transportation/car and walking distance from Wrigley Field and Boystown. You can put a cocktail party on for up to 45 guests standing or a seated event for about 35 (more if you rent additional tables). The space has a fully usable kitchen for a chef to create an amazing pop-up dinner and the kitchen is fully stocked with a myriad of cooking utensils as we are a the "party school" of cooking classes at heart. Please note that you will be responsible for cleaning all dishes, utensils, etc. if you choose to use them. That is not part of the cleaning fee. Please note there are higher minimums for Friday and Saturday nights. Please email us to check for those minimums. Get in the Kitchen! is the "Party School" of cooking classes, which means it's sorta like a cooking class, but a lot more fun! We throw cooking parties which are much more laid back and not as structured as a typical cooking class. Instead of putting on an apron and listening to a chef go step by step through a recipe, here at Get in the Kitchen! we say “fork that shitake mushroom and let’s have some fun!” Add Karaoke, Dancing Lessons, Painting, or a live Comedy, Drag or Magic Show to any party.
