This bright, brick and wood studio has three large, north facing windows with a skyline view. The walls are a combination of white paint & tan brick, and the space gets tons of beautiful natural light. There are a few pieces of basic furniture which can be moved around easily; these items include desks, chairs, mirrors and plants. There is a walled off corner nook which can be used as a podcast production space, changing area or shooting space. There are 2 painted rolling walls which can be used as reflectors or backdrops. On warm winter days, the building does not shut the heat off; we have AC that can be turned on and the windows open as well, but we it doesn't hurt to dress in layers in the event you get hot. HIRE OUR PHOTO / VIDEO TEAM Our team is full of talented photographers and video producers, experienced in people and products, and happy to create with you or your brand. RENT OUR GEAR - Sony A7iii available for $60. This camera is 24mp and films in 4k. FREE GEAR - 2 LED, temperature adjustable constant lights (for video) - Backdrop stand, light stands, extension cords NOISE POLICY No loud music / excessive noise is allowed in either space before 6pm - we have building neighbors to respect, we appreciate your understanding. Our building offers a private restroom down the hallway from our studio. The building also has free parking (lot & street), and is close to the highway, Red Line and bus. Everyone on the Lumber Studios team is a content creator themselves and is more than happy to help your production if you ask. No times will be reserved until your booking is confirmed. I am a firm believer that wedding days should come with a photographer that takes stress off your plate rather than adding to it, that family and portrait sessions should be fun - not stressful, and that newborn sessions should be beautiful and safe! I promise you that you will only here me say “cheese” during your family’s session if your kids just asked me what my favorite food is. You also won’t see me get frustrated or impatient with your newborn who may not want to immediately settle for me. That’s so normal, and completely okay. If anything, it’s to be expected!
