55 Chrystie in the Lower East Side/Chinatown is the premier multifunctional production, event, and meeting venue. This charming boutique building was formerly home and recording studio to the Beastie Boys in their early career. Our 1,820 square foot designer loft features a staging kitchen equipped with a white marble island and induction cooktop. The space has hardwood floors and windows flooding the space with natural light and fresh air. The loft includes one full bathroom with heated floors and a half bath at the entrance. Elevator building. Temperature controlled HVAC. 55 Chrystie is ideal for film shoots, photo shoots, digital content creation, art/photography exhibits, and a private meeting or chef tasting. If additional space is required, there are other studios on the floor that can be rented for check-in, breakout or storage areas. A site rep fee applies. We are a short 2-minute walk from the Grand Street B/D express trains and half a block from Canal Street which has access to numerous subway lines including J/Z/6/N/R/Q/W/F.
