Bright Urban Yoga Studio

Welcome to One Down Dog! We have three yoga studios on the east side of Los Angeles and our Echo Park location is the newest spot -- built from stratch! This location is on the borders of Echo Park and Historic Filipinotown, right on the edge of Downtown. This is a great location for rehearsing, filming, or both! Also wonderful space for photoshoots, group or private fitness classes, meetings, workshops, screenings, and trainings. We hosted a Sofar Sounds event earlier in 2020 and a small wedding in 2018! The front door enters into our lobby, which doubles as a retail space with changing rooms. The lobby features gorgeous skylights and includes a small hangout area with benches and poofs. The lobby is bookended by the two yoga rooms. There is another entrance on Glendale Blvd, which could provide easy access for load-in. The entire space has very high ceilings and gets beautiful natural light during the day. The yoga rooms have hardwood floors, wooden beams and exposed brick with signature graffiti murals by Joerael Elliott. Joerael is a Sante Fe, NM visual artist and yogi. On the backside of the space, there is a small wellness room with a massage table. The room includes a cozy, wool shag rug, macrame wall hanging tapestry, and dimmable lighting. We also have two spacious unisex restrooms. The entire space is 3500 sq ft. The larger yoga room is 37 x 29 ft. which fits about 34 yoga mats The smaller yoga room is about half the size and can fit about 25 yoga mats.
