BLANCHE @ Petit Social Studio is a light-filled studio space located inside a restored 1830s historic hotel in Delaware City, DE—just steps from the Delaware River and the original branch of the C&D Canal. The 900 sq ft studio features neutral, minimalist styling with modern touches, 10-foot ceilings, and an open-concept, trapezoid-shaped layout designed to feel clean, calm, and versatile. Tall windows line three of the four walls, offering deep windowsills and a natural blank canvas for a wide range of sessions. The space is especially well-suited for portrait sessions of all ages, including headshots and branding shoots, as well as thoughtfully styled family, maternity, and boudoir sessions. Soft eastern and western sun moves through the studio throughout the day, paired with consistent northern light. A large 6 ft x 8 ft window anchors the western wall, and guests are welcome to sit and pose within the deep windowsills at their own discretion. Light quality shifts naturally with the time of day, weather, and seasons, making the studio well-suited for both bright, airy sessions and softer, moodier work. Located just steps away—attached to the Brique Studio space—it’s easy to grab finishing touches without leaving the building. Whether you’re adding a pop of color or a subtle styling detail, everything is included to help bring your creative vision to life. A white vinyl floor is included with every rental and is available for use during your session. Seamless paper backdrops and hand-painted canvas backdrops are available as optional add-ons. PLEASE NOTE: Furniture and décor rotate seasonally and may be rearranged as the studio evolves. All pieces are available for use (pending damage), though placement may vary from what’s shown in photos. WHAT’S INCLUDED: A curated collection of chairs, stools, side tables, plants, rugs, lamps, books, benches, décor, candles, desk and tech accessories, children’s chairs and toys, a rocking horse, newborn bassinet, bed setup, and more.
