Welcome to the Disco Loft, just steps from the Riverwalk in Detroit’s East Side Rivertown Warehouse district. This design-focused industrial loft is the perfect spot to host an intimate event. With an open layout and abundant seating, the Disco offers ample space for your guests to enjoy. Features Free street parking. First floor with private entry. Fast WiFi. Professionally cleaned with a medical-grade HEPA filter running at all times. North-facing windows with sheer blinds and black-out curtains. Dimmer switches on every fixture. iPad-controlled smart light system throughout. Alexa system with 6 speakers and a subwoofer. We stock cleaning supplies (trash bags, paper towels, etc) and toiletries (toilet paper, hand soap, hand towels, etc.) Booking Your event time block will be the entire time you'll have access to the space; please be sure to include all the time you need for setup and load out. We only ask that you bag any trash well (bags provided) and take with you any food, beverages, and/or decor you bring in. Food + Drinks You're welcome to bring in whatever food and beverage you'd like, including any caterers. Full use of the kitchen is available at the standard hourly rate. We have an induction cooktop with a full set of pans. Otherwise, we do not provide any plates, cups, silverware, or serving utensils. *Please note: Peerspace does not allow overnight bookings. A $25/hour discount is available if you have 10 guests or fewer. If you'd like to host an event with more than 30 guests, please use the "add-ons" to select the appropriate number and see the additional charges. Music DJs, live music, and/or outside speakers are not allowed in the space. We have an Alexa surround sound system with a subwoofer connected to our house iPad and premium Spotify. We recommend airdropping your playlist to the iPad when you arrive. Other music apps will not work with the system, but you can easily convert your playlists to Spotify from any app. Decor No outside tables or chairs can be brought in; ample seating options are provided. Decor can be used as you wish, except glitter and confetti, as long as nothing is adhered to the walls. We recommend using a balloon or something similar at the door so your guests easily know where to go upon arrival (there are multiple businesses and residences neighboring us on the ground floor).
