Charming Lake Cottage with Wonderful Views

Quaint cottage nestled in the Pennsylvania endless mountains. Overlooking a lake with a private dock, it has wrap around decks with stellar views of the lake. Rustic and modern all at once, it has a fully equipped kitchen, a wood burning stove, an outdoor fire pit & propane and charcoal grills. There are many opportunities of filming and/or photographing at this property, including fishing, boating, and stargazing. A picturesque & serene cottage that provides cozy elements such as a wood burning stove and a wonderful outdoor fire pit for campfires and s'mores. Please take away any perishables you may have brought when you leave. PROPERTY EQUIPMENT: There are paddle boats and kayaks on the property that are not included in the listing, however we will extend its use as a courtesy to our guests at no additional charge with prior permission. Guests are expected to use boats or any appliances and equipment they choose to use on the property including wood burning fire stove, grills etc. with appropriate caution and safety measures. YOUR OWN EQUIPMENT: The cottage has many stairs to navigate to get to the front door and may not be advisable for very young children, or elderly people. The home is a rustic cottage by the lake. We do our best to keep the home free of cobwebs and bugs but owing to its proximity to the water, it can be a challenge at times and you might find a cobweb occasionally. HOME DETAILS: The two bedrooms are smaller in size with relatively larger common areas. There is no formal source of heating, a wood burning stove is good for warmth. It provides a cozy fire, however, it gets very hot so please be mindful not to touch its surface when it is in use and please keep it's door closed. There are also infra-red heaters in the bedrooms and space heaters for the common areas as well as bed-warmers and electric blankets. Please note that there are two docks, the one to the right as one faces the lake is a floating dock. The water in the home, that we drink, is pumped in from the lake and there is a UV purification and filtration system. You may also want to bring your own bottled water. The kitchen will have the basics, you will need to bring your own groceries. Fishing permits are required for fishing on the lake. Cell phone coverage is sparse close to the home, so please download google maps. There is a landline for local calling only. There is however, great wifi and wifi calling in the home.
