A 10-top gas oven and 16 chair dining table, offer an event space that is beyond compare. It connects with its open plan into the main hall with generous light from abundant windows offering relaxing views of the lush, green grounds and pond. Located one mile inland from the quaint seaside town of Langley, enveloped by forest and water, we're an ideal location for hosting family gatherings, wellness and mindfulness retreats, creative workshops, or intimate special occasions. Now offered for mid-week bookings, we look forward to hosting you and your guests on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursdays. You have the whole 3 acres and the whole house to yourselves. The Grounds - 3 private acres, yet right next to town - the best of both worlds - land and sea! Stretch out on the great lawn and walk around the quarter acre pond. Sit amongst fruit trees, wisteria in the summer, and enjoy the sound of the brook that runs through the property. Our 500 sq ft covered outdoor patio — connected by double doors to the great hall and adjacent to the bar— is perfect for subdued evening gatherings, events and meetings inside. The amphitheater style fire pit is a place for evening storytelling and song. Private outside patio/deck areas for the 2 lower level guest suites. Note: Cell phone data (recommend using wi-fi calling) will be very spotty on our part of Whidbey Island - don't expect cell service unless you drive to town 1 mile, though wifi on the property works well. Whidbey Island is only one-and-a-half hours from Seattle by ferry. The event space can be used for community meetings (chairs available) or can be used for yoga practice
