The PERFECT (AIR CONDITIONED) studio for headshots, portraits, product/food photoshoots and other smaller productions. This beautiful warehouse space with exposed whitewashed bricks and tons of all-day, natural-light from the north facing windows, is located in the newly developed Mott Haven area of The Bronx. Its just minutes from Manhattan and very easy to get to! (6 Train to 143rd ST, followed by a simple 2 minute walk. You can also drive right in from any borough via the Triboro/RFK bridge and be parked in front of the studio in under 10 minutes) Although this studio space has very generous amounts of natural light, we also provide professional lighting equipment for free with the booking! Paper backdrops are free to use if not stepped on and only used as a backdrop. If you intend to unroll the backdrop and have a subject stand on it, you must purchase a "pull" of paper for $15. A "pull" or "sweep" allows for up to 5 feet of paper laid onto the floor. Anything longer will be charged as an additional sweep. Studio is on an easy 5th floor walk-up. We do have a freight elevator for heavy gear that is operational Mon-Sat from 8am-6pm. Please let us know in advance if you will need this. This is mainly a self service studio. Sometimes though, we may have a studio manager in the building for additional assistance. You will be provided with 2 access codes that will allow you to gain access to the studio. The first code will allow you to gain entry into the building. The second code will allow you to gain entry into the studio space and will only work during your scheduled booking times.
