A lush speakeasy-style artist parlour tucked away in Williamsburg. This studio is perfect for vintage, victorian, gothic, luxe, pirate, and renaissance inspired shoots. Our studio is a fully decorated boutique Photo Studio and conveniently located in Williamsburg, Brooklyn. Featuring artistic, vintage decor and curious details, this unique space is suitable for small photo and video shoots. The studio features one large, completely private room which is fully furnished and decorated. Crew sizes of 10 or fewer is ideal, larger productions get a little cramped. Please inquire about your preferred date and time before submitting a booking request. We are staffed by freelancers with varying availability. SPACE FEATURES - 400 ft² studio space - 14' x 28' rough dimensions - Controlled lighting - WiFi - Work table - Furnishings - Fridge - Restroom CONVENIENCE Conveniently located off the Bedford L station SCHEDULING Our minimum booking is 2hrs or $250 (+ cleaning + processing fee). Shorter bookings almost always end up using additional time which incurs overtime fees. Please be sure your booking request includes enough time to load in, set up, wrap, and load out. DAYLIGHT This studio has NO windows! ...But the photo shows a huge windowed balcony?! I know. It's a giant light box built into the wall for photo shoots. It looks and feels like sunlight streaming through the doors when it's on, but it's an illusion. Regardless of the actual time of day, you can control the light, easily changing the look from bright daylight to a subdued evening glow. HOW IS THE SOUND IN YOUR SPACE? This studio is not a sound stage. While normally the studio is very quiet, we cannot guarantee our neighbors will be at any time of day. Sound from the hallways outside the space and neighboring studios may be picked up on sensitive audio equipment, including voices, doors, and music. GIANT FABRIC HEART Due to its fragile and special nature, this prop lives on top of the pictured case. If you wish to take it down and use it for your shoot, you may rent it for an additional fee of $35. STUDIO EQUIPMENT Don't lug your C-Stands around! We have 5 c-stands and various other grip equipment available for your convenience.
