Design Museum Available for Creative Offsites, Team Building, and More

Because MODA is the only museum in the southeastern United States dedicated exclusively to design, it may not surprise you to learn that we have a beautiful space for designing your own meeting, offsite retreat or team building activity! Our doors open up to three galleries housing exhibitions focused on the power of design and its ability to inspire change, transform lives, and make the world a better place. CURRENTLY ON VIEW: BITTERSWEET: The Design of Chocolate Chocolate is love. Chocolate is power. Chocolate is design. BITTERSWEET: The Design of Chocolate, takes you on a rich, multisensory journey through the world of chocolate—tracing its origins, unpacking its cultural impact, and examining the systems that shape how it’s made, sold, and shared. Explore how design influences everything from the flavor and shape of a chocolate bar to global conversations about equity, sustainability, and justice. Located at the corner of Peachtree Street and 16th Street, MODA is just one block from the Arts Center MARTA station. We are in the heart of the Midtown Arts Corridor: a vibrant, easily walkable neighborhood filled with restaurants, bars, and museums. We’re also just a short drive from Downtown Atlanta and Buckhead. Our expert facilitators can create a variety of add-on experiences for your meeting or event. From private tours, to LEGO challenges, skateboard deck design and 3D printing workshops, our add-on activities foster creative thinking and group problem solving for your team. Spend the entire day at MODA or visit us as part of a cultural tour of Midtown Atlanta. Please inquire for a menu of activities, or we can collaborate and create something special for your group! Our lobby and galleries are available for meetings during hours that we are closed to the public: mornings, evenings, and all day Monday and Tuesday. Just imagine assembling your team in a museum gallery and getting creative! We can comfortably seat 60 lecture-style and 30-40 at tables. Our galleries are ideal for a variety of meetings, including: Workshops Sales presentations Team offsites Brainstorms Happy hours Product launches Small talks . . . and anything else that you can dream up!
