This lovely and spacious home (3200+ sq ft) is perfect for friendly, warm family gatherings, and holiday weekend getaways. The grand entrance has a soaring two-story cathedral ceiling and gives you that welcoming feeling the moment you walk in. Kitchen: Is a masterpiece for the chef with 18' of granite counter space, tile backsplash, 3 x 6 island w/roll-out drawers, Miele double oven and a Blue Star 6 burner gas cooktop stove, dishwasher, as well as many of the accouchements that you may need to cook a delicious family meal, making this a family favorite home for the holidays. Dining room: You have enough space to seat everyone. There is beautiful diagonal red oak flooring. There is seating for 8, but room for more if you need it. Great room: Is open through to the kitchen so you can be involved in the conversations or the entertainment that is going on. You can enjoy the beauty of the gas fireplace. There is also a 55" Smart TV. We have regular cable TV. You also have access to Netflix and Discovery Channel. There are other apps for you to sign into as well. Come spring and summer, you will be thrilled to open up the french door off the great room to the screened porch allowing the fresh air in or to just sit and listen to the birds. Living Room/Music Room: This room is right off the Great room with beautiful red oak floors and is perfect for relaxing on the chaise lounge, reading a good book, and enjoying the scenery from the large windows. There is also a Yamaha Grand Keyboard for playing and entertaining. Laundry room: Washing machine and dryer are available for your use. Office: Executive computer desk and lounging couch. High-speed internet throughout the home. Half bath/powder room on the first floor. Four second-floor bedrooms: 1. Bedroom 1: Huge master suite filled with natural light, King size bed, tray ceiling with a ceiling fan, a 43-inch Smart TV, double walk-in closets, on-suite expansive bath with double sink, soaking whirlpool tub, and separate shower. 2. Bedroom 2: Queen size bed with a Smart 32-inch Smart TV, linens, pillows, comforters, and blankets. 3. Bedroom 3: Bunkbed room with a full-size bunk bed that can sleep 4 people, bed linens, comforters, blankets, and pillows 4. Bedroom 4: Queen size bed with a 32-inch Smart TV, linens, comforters, blankets, and pillows There is an additional full-size bathroom on the second floor Garage: 2 car garage and parking for 2 more cars in the driveway Throughout most of the house, you will find 9' ceilings with decorative crown molding, chair railings, and recessed lighting. Backyard retreat with newly updated amenities as of September 2022. Pool: The pool will be open in the months of May, June, July, and August. It will be closed for winter maintenance and cleaning from September through the month of April. You'll be happy to swim laps in our huge oval above-ground swimming pool, which is located in the rear of the backyard. The pool is 24 ft. by 44 ft. The pool is 54 inches deep. This is a saltwater pool, which is gentler for your skin and eyes. *All guests must agree to follow the *House Rules regarding the safe use of the swimming pool, and Hot tub prior to the stay. Please read the "Other Things to Note" Section. Hot tub: We have a beautiful and relaxing Rendevous hot tub, with 78 jets that seat 6-7 people. Wrap Around Deck: There is a gorgeous expanded wrap-around deck that goes from the back deck off the kitchen all the way to the back of the house to our screen room. On the deck, you'll have access to dine at the outdoor dining table. From there, you'll have access to a beautiful area with lounge seating and views of the pool and natural forest area on the property. The deck directly in front of the screen room has a relaxing seating area for guests to read, dine, converse and just spend a relaxing time together. Pond: Throughout the spring, summer, and fall, you can enjoy this beautiful secluded yard space that includes a fabulous zen koi pond, with a calming gentle waterfall for you to meditate and watch the local pond wildlife; frogs, turtles, and small salamanders. There is also an entertaining paradise outside in the huge backyard, with bluestone boulders, which the Hudson Valley is famous for, and an assortment of lush oak and pine trees. The backyard space also has a granite island, a pergola with comfortable seating, a flat top BBQ grill, a. gas BBQ grill, and a fire pit with Adirondack chairs.
