I am a firm believer that wedding days should come with a photographer that takes stress off your plate rather than adding to it, that family and portrait sessions should be fun - not stressful, and that newborn sessions should be beautiful and safe! I promise you that you will only here me say “cheese” during your family’s session if your kids just asked me what my favorite food is. You also won’t see me get frustrated or impatient with your newborn who may not want to immediately settle for me. That’s so normal, and completely okay. If anything, it’s to be expected! As a mom, I understand that kids (and babies) need to have the space to be themselves in order to get the best shot. 1. PULL TRASH / Recycle • Remove liners and reline all waste containers. • Change the bag when ¾ full or if the area is closed for the day. • Clean waste receptacles. 2. HIGH DUST • High dust everything above shoulder level, use an extension pole with duster head. Never high dust around people. 3. DAMP WIPE • Wipe everything you are able to reach. • Use germicide for all surfaces except glass. • Use a dry cloth to polish interior and low-level glass. • Start with the door & work around the room in a circular pattern. • Be sure to include: wall spotting, light switches, call buttons, telephones, wall moldings, dispensers, windowsills, and furniture. 4. CLEAN BATHROOM • Start at the door and end with the toilet. Use a bowl mop inside the bowl and wipe the outside with a disinfectant damp wiper. Do not use the cleaning wiper on any other surface after cleaning the toilet. 5. DUST MOP FLOOR • Dust behind all furniture and doors. Move whatever is possible 6. DAMP MOP • Place Wet Floor sign at the entrance before you begin. • Start with corner farthest from the door & work your way out. • Mop out corners to prevent build up. 7. INSPECT THE ROOM • Report any needed repairs. • Correct any deficiencies. • Is the room ready for another customer?
