Frogtown Creative is an all-purpose event and media space in the heart of LA's entertainment industry hub. A family-owned business, the compound features a fully equipped recording studio, cyclorama film and photo space, indoor / outdoor event venue, production offices, lodging, kitchen facilities, and more. Frogtown is one of the city's most sought out neighborhoods, home to beloved community events including the Art Walk and Flea Crawl, establishments like Zebulon, Salazar, and Lingua Franca, and esteemed entertainment industry businesses all within walking distance. Our space is walking distance from Gil and Roy prop house, Ethos color studio, and other partner facilities. On the bank of the LA river, the location is easily accessible by car and bike. RED The Red House is an exquisite modern live / work / entertainment space equipped with the highest caliber equipment. Entering the house, you'll walk through a picture-perfect living room. The zen feel and luxurious amenities are a perfect respite from a fast-paced production project. Alternatively, the room serves as the perfect entrance to greet your guests before heading into the main event room. Adjacent to the living room are two isolated bedrooms and a shared bathroom. These indulgently comfortable rooms are ideal for multi-day production staff lodging, or break rooms for single day events. The Red main space features a 20-foot high ceiling with a lofted balcony. Outfitted with a state of the art Yamaha PA system and Epson projector, the giant white wall and seating area are perfect for screening. Strike the projector and you have the perfect room for a Hollywood event complete with hi-fi music, adjacent kitchen for refreshments, and a removable dance floor. The lofted balcony with epic views of the city and mountains only adds to the legendary feel. By day, production offices underneath the balcony are outfitted with massive monitors, industrial printers and office supplies. Behind the elusive one way mirrored sliding doors, you can even work in the offices while the party's on. BLUE Walking into Blue aka Gilroy Recording Studios is an epiphany. Stepping into the room where the likes of Billie Eilish and Donald Glover have recorded some of the most iconic music of our lifetimes, hits you hard. You can hear the precision in sound in taking your first steps. From there you're on a journey through sonic space in one of the most coveted studios in Los Angeles. YELLOW Behind Red and Blue is the jaw-dropping Yellow film and photography studio. The 20 foot cyc wall, built-in truss, and lighting grid is a turnkey production environment. Save yourself the cost and hassle of filming on a corporate production stage. Yellow is the "in the know" location for A-class shoots looking to avoid big business administrative setbacks. OUTDOORS Between buildings, the exterior grounds offer a flawless slate for your dream event. With clean concrete and stone, and decorated Southern California flora (including one of the lowest altitude Redwood trees in the world) the 5000+ square feet of outdoor space can be limitlessly transformed. From farmers markets, to late night dance parties and black tie fundraisers, the grounds have proven to perfectly accommodate a broad spectrum of uses.
