Welcome to Wanderlust ATX, where we offer not just a place to stay, but an incredible experience. As you open the front door you step into the International Music Hall. You will see handcrafted wooden soundbars with some of the most recognized album covers of all time. Don't forget to pop on the LED lights so you can get the whole affect! As you make it into the main room you will turn to see the entire wall covered by a Wanderlust themed mural that was spray painted by one of Austin's top graffiti artists. We are not just going to tempt you with those records, we have a record player and records for you enjoyment. (Pro Tip: The LED lights can be programmed to go with the music). The whole first floor is a curated design by a team of skilled interior designers and artists! Tired of 3ft cowboy pools that aren't big enough for your whole group to even sit in? Us to! Step outside into our private backyard oasis, complete with a sparkling blue 30ft in-ground pool surrounded by lush greenery. Our 8ft fenced yard ensures privacy, making it the perfect spot to unwind and soak up the sun. Directly under the patio cover there is a 6 person dining table and if you make your way around turfed area to the cedar pergola you will find a lounge area and bar seating! The perfect backyard haven whether you prefer to take a refreshing swim or if you just want to lounge poolside. (The pool and spa are not heated from March to October). Our four themed bedrooms are inspired by some of our favorite travel destinations (Mexico, SE Asia, New Orleans, and Cuba). Each bedroom is uniquely decorated with international art and décor collected from our travels around the world. Whether you are world traveler at heart or simply enjoy a weekend getaway, you will love the authentic art and decor around each corner. Cuba: Our master bedroom features art from our amazing trip to Cuba. Enjoy a king-sized bed and an ensuite bathroom with a dual shower/tub and a double vanity. SE Asia: With beautiful art from Vietnam, Cambodia and Thailand this room features a queen-sized mattress that feels like sleeping on clouds! Mexico: Being an Mexican-American family and it being one of our favorite travel destinations, we had to include Mexico! You will love the decor and sleep amazing on the queen-sized bed. New Orleans: What happened to the international theme? New Orleans is somewhere we try to go every year! So much culture, art and FOOD! You will love the art and souvenirs from bourbon street. It features a full-sized bed and also twin that rolls out from underneath (trundle bed). There is also a 50inch mounted TV.
