Sunny Music Studio, Brooklyn Artist Industrial Loft, City Views

Located in Gowanus, Brooklyn, our studio was designed by now-legendary designer Jim Keller at Sondhus. The goal was to create a space with an unheard-of amount of natural light and ambience, while still maintaining mastering-spec acoustics. The result is a space that, in keeping with our motto, both looks and sounds gorgeous, with boutique equipment to match. This space is ideal for any production that's looking for a studio location for photo or video, but doesn't want to film in a cave (which most studios are). Attached to the studio is a sunny 750 square foot common area with 11 foot ceilings that retains much of the original industrial loft aesthetic of the building. This area can be used for filming and photography; it is also ideal for crew/talent holding, as a production office, and for staging equipment. There is a loading dock and freight elevator available 24/7 for easy load-in and load-out. For production, our office has a super fast commercial Fios connection, high speed color laser printer, and a scanner. There's also a small kitchenette with a large refrigerator, coffee machine, and water cooler. We also have roof access with a fantastic view of Downtown Brooklyn and the unique elevated train line near Smith/9th. However, shooting on the roof would need to be cleared on a case-by-case basis with building management and isn't guaranteed.
