Welcome to the Hidden Malibu Sanctuary! The space is located on a historic property called the Malibu Lodge, directly across from Las Tunas beach. The Malibu Lodge was a restaurant and cocktail lounge in the 20’s and 30’s that offered a handful of numerous bungalows for its guests including this one. The property is seemingly a world away from Los Angeles yet just 5 minutes away from Santa Monica. The space is nestled in a canyon and offers ocean, canyon, mountain views and plenty of vegetation. There are many unique spaces and amenities including a creek, a bridge, an outdoor shower and outdoor bathtub, a jacuzzi, a pergola and a Tulum inspired driftwood hammock plus an outdoor gym. The space is ideal for photo/video shoots including social media content, lookbooks, as well as unique, private events such as health and wellness events. We hosted group meditation sessions, soundbaths and yoga class as well. It's a perfect place to throw get together for friends or any social gathering. We also have a BBQ right next to the creek that guest can use, along with some groovy vintage surfboards from the 70's. The indoor area is a large, airy and open space with plenty of lighting and ocean views with plenty of room for makeup and styling. Feel free to use the kitchen and of course the bathroom. What people love the most about this spot is the uniqueness, proximity to the city, tons of private parking and above all, the many unique areas of the property offering plenty of spots to photograph or just hang out. Ideal for any clothing brands, as Malibu Sanctuary offers many diverse locations. Photographers who has booked our location for photo shoots were satisfied by the many different backdrops, such as mountain views, ocean backdrop, green backdrop location, we have plenty of pampa's right near the creek area that makes a spectacular backdrop. We also have many unique rock formations around the backyard. Las Tunas Beach is directly across PCH from Malibu Sanctuary. Accessible by foot or by car (we recommend by car for safety reasons). There is ample parking and direct beach access. Las Tunas beach is a beautiful beach with plenty of sand, tide pools and rocks and with very few visitors.
