Scenic Bayfront Theater with Golden Gate Bridge View

Located along the San Francisco waterfront in the historic Fort Mason Center between Fisherman’s Wharf and the Golden Gate Bridge, the 194-seat Bayfront Theater is the ideal place to hold a performance, conference, or gathering. The theater features a modern proscenium, auditorium-quality seating, a concessions stand with cafe seating, and both on- and off-stage wheelchair accessibility. Performer and house manager amenities include a green room, two dressing rooms, a ticket counter, a tech booth with sound and light board, and a projector. The Bayfront Theater is available for rent most weekdays and often weeknights Sunday through Friday. Stage Our stage has dimensions 21" feet deep x 18" wide, plus additional space in the wings. Backstage Area Backstage there are two dressing rooms and a green room. There is no running water backstage, restroom facilities are located just down the hall from the the Bayfront. Lobby/Concessions We have two lobby areas (with a spectacular view) which can be used as a reception area, or to serve concessions. Rental Hours Standard rental hours are 8 am - midnight. Please ask if you have need different hours for your event. Include one hour for load in before doors open and at least 45 minutes (we recommend 1 hour) at the end of the rental for guest exit, clean up, and load out. Staffing All events include two staff members - one tech/lightician and one front-of-house/site manager. Please add the appropriate number of hours for the technician to your booking. Tech Lighting - customizable theatrical lighting with full wash, spotlights, Sound - Wired and wireless microphones on stage, can run audio from booth. A/V - we have a 4K projector with HDMI connections
