ABOUT THE HOUSE The inspiring design of this serene space provides the perfect set for films, photo shoots, and live broadcasts filled with natural light while being completely private. The neighborhood is quiet with zero active construction in place, and the building's heavy stone walls and thick glass windows can effectively dampen the sound of nearby cars, planes, etc. Natural lights fills this solar-powered “Eco-Oasis,” which is only 1 mile from Dallas Market Center/Design District, 2 miles from Downtown's American Airlines Center, and less than 4 miles from Love Field Airport. The AIA award-winning design includes floor-to-ceiling glass walls enclosed behind a serene bamboo garden and privacy fence. The flexible floor plan offers multiple configurations and has accommodated a variety of events, from concerts to yoga classes to meditation groups and large dinner parties. Has also successfully hosted a number of photo shoots, filming, and live broadcasts. Includes very strong Wifi. The house is a 1,700-sq ft loft-style building (1 bedroom and 2 bathrooms), and has hosted private parties with upwards of 80 people in them. However, to comply with City of Dallas codes, we cannot host special events and need to limit guests to actors/models, film crew, and necessary support team. Please message me to ask for more info. A NOTE ON FURNITURE I have a minimalist approach to furniture. The included option is one table with 8 chairs, as seen in photos; as well as the bedroom furniture (which includes the “Liberator” couch, with removable straps). There is not a traditional living room, as the home is setup in more of a “temple” vibe with a large “cuddle puddle” where the living room furniture would traditionally be. Prior shoots have occasionally arranged for furniture rental/delivery, but this needs to be discussed and approved by me beforehand. MORE ABOUT THE SPACE The house is a nude-friendly, sensual space on a corner lot that is surrounded by a concrete privacy fence and a bamboo garden. We have successfully hosted everything from boudoir shoots for first-time models who feel shy … all the way to internationally visiting OF models in top 1% of creators. And all kinds of lovely beings in between! Designed as architect Ron Wommack’s personal home and signature project, my home has won the AIA (American Institute of Architects) “Best of Show” and “ Honor Award” for built small project. Jerome Weeks, of local NPR station KERA, also recognized the home in a review titled “Elsewhere, Texas.” Hise (European publication) published it in an international survey of small houses. It is a sleek marvel of modern design that is a perfect fit for an upscale event, photo shoot, or film production. The innovative sustainable design includes solar panels, a gated courtyard set behind a privacy wall with mature landscaping, and a bamboo serenity garden that combine to create a tranquil space around the home. The home is quiet and highly effective for recordings of all kinds. The concrete slab and exposed structural steel framing offer a museum-like serenity to the home itself, which transports you out of the city despite being 5 minutes from the American Airlines Center (home of the Mavs and a premier concert destination) and <4 miles from Love Field airport. The large pane windows create wonderful light prisms and rainbow effects throughout the day (see photos). Truly the best combination of central location, sleek design, environmental sustainability in the city. The living area is oversized and the house has tremendous flexibility in layout/use; the furniture can easily be moved to adapt to your needs. We can customize layout based on your needs and you are welcome to move all furniture, furnishings, art, etc. The space is ideal for photo shoots, film productions, etc. Strong WiFi. Kitchen fully stocked for cooking, lots of options for tea and coffee, plus a full fridge for you to stock your own drinks/food as needed. Plenty of closet space/garage storage available if space is needed over multiple days, as well as a washer/dryer available.
