The bathroom has lime green linoleum flooring and pine panelling, accompanying the sage-coloured bath set. There are lovely old-fashioned wooden kitchen cupboards paired with retro tiles. The two large bedrooms are fitted with outmoded built in furniture, and traditional old carpets cover the floors. The living room has a typical fireplace, and an old conservatory leads the way into the well-established garden. The house is situated on a lovely garden square in Islington, which is very quiet with no through traffic or other sources of noise – making it an ideal location for filming as well as photoshoots. This house is also set apart by the fact that three of the four floors are surprisingly open plan – a rarity in a traditional townhouse which is advantageous for film crews seeking versatile spaces. The house has been successfully used for a wide variety of filming, including dramas, music videos, and an interview.
