Oakland Retreat is a light-filled daily rental that is perfect for intimate 6-10 person or less private events, company off-sites, and video/photo productions. The standard rental period is between 9 AM and 4 PM. Need an inspiring space for the day! We've got you covered! The space is 1,200 square feet and includes the kitchen, dining room, living room, 1 bathroom, and a wood deck that is located at the back of the house off the dining room. It is an open floor plan (dining, kitchen, and living room) that can host up to a 10-person event in New England style. If you have a larger event or more people that you would like to attend, please contact us and we can discuss whether we can accommodate your needs. COMPANY OFF-SITES / INTIMATE GATHERINGS: Oakland Retreat is located in a recently renovated 1925 British cottage with 9' ceilings, amazing light, a designer kitchen, and lots of comfortable seating. The house is surrounded by Oak trees and abundant natural light. French door connected to a 250 Square feet deck facing to a valley, creek, and oak tree forest. An outdoor dining table with 8 seats offers a casual venue for happy hour or an extra meeting space. PHOTO / VIDEO PRODUCTIONS: The 3 big picture windows in the space are all essentially southwest facing - the light is diffused and does not shine directly into the space. New England style decoration, chandelier, Serena and Lily furniture, white oak floor, and sunroom for breakfast or tea break. The house includes: - 6-person dining tables, one indoor and one outdoor. - abundant space for dining, and food preparation: 7' weigh kitchen island that 9' countertop - Living room seating for 4-8 (Sofa and floor pillows); - LG TV with Bluetooth to allow you to screen-share your laptop; - Dimmable lighting; - 1 Beautiful bathroom Check-in: 9 AM or later. We'll give you a quick rundown of the space, answer all your questions, and then she's all yours! Check-out: 4 PM at the latest. We would appreciate it if you put the space back in a similar condition to how you found it at check-in. We'll hire professional cleaners to do the floors, bathroom, etc., but please put the furniture back before departure. We would love to learn of the damage as soon as possible so that repairs can be made before the next guest arrives. Guests are responsible for the cost of the repairs. You may park in the driveway for 5 to 10 minutes during unloading and loading but will need to find alternate parking during their stay. There is free street parking on the main street nearby.
