Large loft, This former Bourg-la-Reine Abbey, rehabilitated into a loft, is located in the town center of Bourg-La-Reine on a very quiet street. This modern industrial-type loft includes a large living room of 118 m2 in a modern, chic, and welcoming style, opening onto a calm and green outdoor space of 40 m2 and a garden with a certain comfort. The loft is very spacious with a beautiful ceiling height of 2m85 and up to 5 meters in places, it has a crazy charm with its slightly rusty visible IPN and its red briquettes dating from the construction of this Abbey more than 150 years ago! Its staircase is a centerpiece since it was intended to remain outside, but we had it modified to be able to integrate it into the interior of the house for a unique style and a perfect match with the chosen ceiling "from the warped metal jail" with long rows of spotlights mixed with the IPN and the original cast iron radiators which were sandblasted by a professional for a natural effect, the cellar door is also original, almost in its juice since it is rusty but treated (therefore no risk) it brings warmth to the room and combines perfectly with all the materials used for the renovation, in particular, the tiling chosen to match its rust effect and its briquettes restored. There are also 3 large New York loft-style windows measuring 2m30 high and a large bay window measuring 3m30 which opens onto two-thirds to create a unique space between the side industrial and the bohemian chic and relaxing garden, garden seating area, with a hanging seat and poufs. At nightfall, small bulbs delicately illuminate the garden and if necessary, two huge halogen bulbs can light up the garden as if it were daylight at night! On the equipment side, we have a large, fully equipped kitchen open to the main room with a standing dining table and a table that can accommodate up to 8 people around the central island, the hotplates are located on the island with two portable and designer Ciarra hoods, the kitchen includes a large American fridge with ice cube dispenser, crushed ice and freshwater (second fridge in the cellar available if necessary) there is a new, excellent quality oven with several programs for sophisticated and tasty cuisine, the microwave is also available and very efficient as well as the dishwasher, you can have several kitchen appliances such as: -Thermomix -Airfryer -Classic Nespresso and Vertuo -Crepe maker -Waffle iron -Popcorn machine -Toaster -Grill -Barbecue The loft also includes a "small" gym with an elliptical bike for cardio, weight and abdominal bench, dumbbells, yoga mats, ab wheel, jump ropes, and punching bag. You will also find a dining area with a buffet and table for 6/8 people decorated with a magnificent faceted mirror giving a chic and glam style to the living room. There is also a relaxation area with table football and a vinyl player for a retro atmosphere and you will even find dinosaur fossils there for fans of Jurassic Park... Just before the outdoor terrace is the lounge-sofa-TV area (217 cm) for a simple moment, or fun with the consoles available (Switch, Playstation, and X-Box) or for a moment of work with the possibility of broadcasting your work on the big screen via your computer. In this lounge area, there is also a very high-quality punching bag for photo shoots, with a catamaran net just above it for a nice design side that allows you to relax and read a book peacefully, access to this is done from above*. The garden is bohemian in style, chic, and relaxing... in the cool summer, in the natural shade of the tree, this warm place is a little corner of paradise. We also have a bathroom on the ground floor with a shower, WC, and renovated sink. This loft is very well located, since it is in the heart of the city, with all its small shops where life is good, its very affordable and excellent restaurants with large capacities for group reception or catering deliveries to the home. There are also small, colorful Antillaise and Burger AOP vans which are present less than 50m from the loft and which can deliver (already done and incredibly good and fast) The loft is very easily accessible by road less than 10/15 minutes from Porte d'Orléans or by RER B direct to Bourg-La-Reine then located 3 minutes from the station.
