Flexible meeting and event space with deck and garden.

75' x 50' flexible space. This is our church's worship space with moveable chairs and 8' round tables that can be configured as needed. There are no overtly Christian symbols in the space. A sound system and overhead projector with a screen are available for use. The Steinway baby grand piano is available with approval from our Director of Music. We also have a 16' x 40' deck and a garden with a small grassy area that can be used as well as a children's playground. Please be sure to include setup and cleanup time in the time period you request. Umstead Park UCC is an Open and Affirming congregation, which means that we welcome fully persons of every race, religious background, age, ability, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, and economic condition. Renters of our space will demonstrate the same respect and welcome to people attending their events, as well as any other persons who are present on-site. Renters will refrain from discriminatory speech, or any other activities that denigrate any of the aforementioned groups.
