The Kitchen & Photo Studio is a fully equipped, aesthetically pleasing photography kitchen located less than 20 minutes from Portland, Maine. AMENITIES: 500 sq. feet of shooting space 5 extra-tall, northeast-facing windows just above the tree line for perfectly diffused, controllable light Natural stone counters with space to seat upwards of 8 in the kitchen, and two beautiful wooden folding tables to seat up to 10 more High-end, aesthetically pleasing appliances with food production equipment A professionally curated prop pantry and photography backdrop selection available for an additional rental fee GOOD TO KNOW: Easy load-in access Free Parking Sonos speakers and free wifi access within the studio Rolling carts and dollies available in the mill Grips, fill cards, and some lighting available for extra rental fees About the Dana Warp Mill: The historic Dana Warp Mill is located above the Falls on the Presumpscot River in downtown Westbrook, Maine. Woodbury K. Dana purchased a small mill on Bridge Street in 1866 and began manufacturing cotton warp. Warp is the cotton thread that is used for weaving textiles. In modern days the Mill has become the home to many unique operating businesses including designers and manufacturers of custom textiles, photographers, artists, fitness facilities, dance studios, and more.

We love our studio and hope you do, too. Together we can keep this space clean and organized for all! Before you leave, please wipe down all surfaces including the sink, stove and fridge! Remove trash and extra, unused product that you brought in (while we love that you want to pay it forward, our space is limited and we simply cannot store all the leftover items.). After our last guest and ahead of the next, we do a full sweep of our space to check for cleanliness, damage, and missing items. We then do our next level of cleaning and organizing to make sure that the space is in tip-top shape for the next visitor. Please keep in mind that this space is located in an old mill with 100+ year old floors and brick walls, and things are naturally imperfect.
