Welcome to The After Hours Lounge, a studio that shape-shifts from Cuban cigar lounge to boudoir, to luxurious living room created for cinematic, editorial shoots. With multiple styled zones, curated props, and clean sight lines that make it easy to walk in and start shooting. The ideal intimate boudoir set fit with a clawfoot Victorian sofa, 1970’s smoked glass chandelier, and Art Deco changing screens. The space also serves as a luxurious living room set with heavy velvet drapery, serving trolleys, and a working Essex upright piano. There is also a private fire escape. We have an extensive collection of designer barware and props that are included with the rental. Please refer to our website to view our current inventory. Many props are not on the website but are fixtures in the space such as 1920's opera glasses, antique cigarette dispensers, lighters, and ashtrays. Wardrobe includes fur coats, fox stole, gloves, and opera glasses. All of our merchandise is authentic vintage- no reproductions, which makes a difference in the photos. If you fall in love with anything, our collection is available for purchase. We are in the historic Apparel Mart building which is a Renaissance Revival structure with marble hallways, regal staircases, fire escapes, and a rooftop available for filming UPON REQUEST FOR ADDITIONAL FEES. Rooftop shoots require advance notice and waiver forms filled out. Hallways and staircases are included at no additional fee. Rooftop: flat fee of $150 (up to 2 hours) please inquire for larger shoots. We are centrally located in the heart of the Fashion District of Downtown Los Angeles, which is blocks from Santee alley- perfect for last minute items. There are plenty of restaurants, coffee shops, and affordable parking options within a stone’s throw of the building. Sundays are the easiest parking days and plenty of free options nearby. The building has 24 hour security for a safe, controlled environment. We are committed to providing you with the ultimate atmospheric set.
